This week’s episode comes courtesy of several things. First, there was a box of records I bought off Kelly at Love Garden for fifty bucks. It’s chock-full of early-to-mid ’90s pop-punk and garage, which means that you’re going to be hearing an awful lot of the Automatics over the next couple of months. Secondly, Windian Records hooked us up with a stack of their latest, so you get to hear three of their four most recent releases on this week’s show.
In other words, you’re getting a show that was half-planned when I started recording it, and it’s like you’re falling right into my little voyage of discovery and following along. Expect a lot of “goodness gracious, that certainly was a surprise!” over the next few weeks.
