Podcast #13 – Unlucky Numbers

13-luckWithout hyperbole, I can say this is probably the closest I’ve ever come to recreating the magic of a really good radio show. This week’s podcast just sort of sneaked up on me, and I wasn’t really prepared to spend my afternoon doing the show (yes, it’s a peek behind the curtain – the show is recorded Wednesday afternoons). However, I had a playlist made up, so I was ready to go in that respect, and since it’s hot as blazes outside and the basement is fully stocked with Dr. Pepper and Diet Coke, I got to it.

There’s a lot more talking in this episode, but it’s all fairly relevant to the music at hand, and there’s no sibilant consonants (no popping Ps), so it sounds really good, too. The tunes got altered at the last minute, kind of on-the-fly, and the show’s really chill and fun. This is pretty good music for rocking it by the pool, and I hope you get to jam some of these with your feet in the deep end and a beer in your hand.
