Podcast #4 – Twistin’ ‘n’ Twangin’

the-twistUnsurprisingly, this episode features absolutely nothing from Duane Eddy’s Twistin’ ‘n’ Twangin’ LP. I just happened to glance at the cover and thought it suited this garage-heavy episode of the podcast.

On the bright side, I seem to have conquered the popping sibilant consonants for the most part. I’ve yet to get the speaking volume corrected, but better that all be a little quiet than constantly smashing against the red.

If you’d like to hear me on an honest-to-goodness radio mic, I will be broadcasting from noon-1:00 p.m. Central Standard Time this afternoon on KJHK 90.7FM. The University of Kansas’ student-run radio station will be moving from their current location in the Sudler Annex on the north end of the KU campus to the Kansas Union today, and I’ve been granted the great privilege of being the last to man the booth. Use the link above to find the station’s stream.
