There’s some great new stuff online… I felt I ought to share.

* The Twin Cities Daily Planet offers up “The World’s Last Record Store,” wherein Almostred bemoans the lack of actual record stores, wherein you discover good stuff and get involved with things.

* Popmatters’ Mixtape Confessions column offers a guide to event etiquette. It’s a polite, informal way of helping you to stop being such a douche.

* MXV has a great interview with Bill Sassenberger, founder of Toxic Shock Records and singer of Peace Corpse (he also runs Toxic Ranch Records, which is worth a trip to Tucson to visit). There’s also a new episode of Live From Combustion Manor featuring Mike of CH3, downloadable right here (or you can subscribe to the feed).

* Oh, and I kinda / sorta think Diablo Cody is pretty fucking awesome. Wow. It’s like that Family Guy riposte that Stewie does about the whole Weakest Link thing.
