New old live stuff

Several influential acts have played reunion shows in the past couple of years, and they’ve all gotten filmed. And, it appears, quite a few of them are coming out on DVD in the next year or so. Here’s a sampling of that to which you can look forward.

Inquisition played a reunion show back in May at Alley Katz in Richmond, VA. After the band broke up in the early ’90s, members went on to form Strike Anywhere and Ann Berretta . Here they are with “Hotel X.”

Naked Raygun reformed earlier this year for a series of shows, culminating at Chicago’s Riot Fest. Well, the shows went over so damn well, the band decided to get back together and play out regularly. I’ve yet to see them in person, but if this video of “Rat Patrol” is any indication, they haven’t lost a fucking step.
