Podcast #38, “Rock Around the Cheap Rewards”

cheap-rewardsWell, thanks to working six days straight, and relaxing with half a sixer of Ska Brewing‘s True Blonde Ale, this episode was rather loose. There’s a nice interview with Mike Hooker, proprietor of the mail order LP shop, Rockaround Records. We spoke to him by phone about selling vinyl to folks such as myself, as well as his new venture, Cheap Rewards, which is devoted to repressing lost power pop gems.

In addition, there’s some novelty tunes, songs about outer space, and some reggae. Next week, we’ll be back with all the new stuff I promised would be on this show. What can I say? I get a couple beers in me, and all planning goes right out on window.
