Stuck in the metal
Eagles of Death Metal are opening for the Strokes on their current tour. This pisses me off something fierce, because I’d really love to see EODM, and I imagine my wife would, too.
However, no matter how much I like the new Strokes single, there is no way in holy hell I’m paying thirty goddamn dollars (plus miscellaneous service charges) a ticket. ‘Cause I don’t like either band that much. Nor does the wife love Josh Homme and his badass Queens of the Stone Age self that much.
If you, too, have no desire whatsoever to pay that much to see the band, you can support Eagles of Death Metal by purchasing their new album Death By Sexy when it comes out April 11. I imagine I will, even with the pirated copy that has been sitting on my hard drive ’cause they’ll put it out on LP, and I’m geek like that.
